Ronald Earl Larson

August 24, 1953 — March 26, 2018

Ronald Earl Larson passed away on March 26, 2018.
With the heart and energy of a child, Ronald Larson lived an extraordinary life, full of hard work and equally hard play--one that he would say, “Takes the cake.” “Ronny," as his beloved wife, Linda of 40 years calls him, loved to have fun--living his life with a bold spirit. Always active, he often told his kids to “Stop monkeying around!” or to “Get on the stick!” And, if that wasn’t motivation enough to get up and go, he would warn, "Kids, my hand's getting itchy!" A true farmer in his heart and soul, Ron loved cattle and spending time in nature. He was a hard-working, humble man who respected life, loved the gospel of Jesus Christ, was loyal to the core, and was a father figure to many. What mattered most to him, however, was his family. His true joy came from seeing pictures of and spending time with his six beautiful grandchildren, two children, and his sweet wife. He taught his children to take pride in everything they do and to work harder than everyone else just for the joy of working.
Ron has returned home to his father, Leland; his mother, Joann; and his oldest brother, Roger. He is survived by his eternal companion, Linda; his two children, Jason (Sonny Bun), and Christina (Sweet Sweet); and his six grandchildren, Hali, Lily, Leah, Silas, Linkin and Cora.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the LDS Chapel on 176 S 1300 E, Hyrum, Utah, 84319. Visitation with the family will be held from 9:30a-10:30a. Funeral services will follow at 11a. Graveside ceremony will be held at the Riverside Cemetery in Heyburn, Idaho at approximately 2:30p.
