Bebe Judith Marion Strand Hansen died Monday, November 3, 2014 at Terrace Grove. Born August 17, 1925 in Tremonton, Bear River County, Utah. She was preceded in death by parents Oscar Enoch & Judith Hellstrom Strand, and a daughter, Eve Suzanne Hansen Dicus.
Bebe married Arthur Howard Hansen of Garland, Utah on February 22, 1946 at Brunswick, Georgia and solemnized in the Logan Temple. They were divorced Oct. 10, 1968. The couple had four children: Craig Strand Hansen, David Arthur Hansen, Eve Suzanne Hansen Dicus, and Forrest Whalen Hansen. She had one granddaughter, Jennifer Kaye. Reese Bice and three great-grandchildren. Bebe married Enoch Bautista in November 1982, later divorced in 1988.
She graduated from Bear River High School, Hall Institute of Real Estate in Atlanta, GA, New York School of Interior Design, and the Dayton Conservatory of Music in Dayton, OH. She also had studied at the McCune School of Music & Art in Salt Lake City.
She was Miss Box Elder County in 1945 and a runner-up for Miss Utah.
She held many positions in the LDS church including Ward & Stake Relief Society President, Stake Genealogy Director, Stake and Ward Chorister, etc. She directed many choruses & choirs in the several states where she lived.
Bebe is preceded in death by brothers Harold G. Strand Marjorie and Bert Oscar Strand Beverly. She has a sister Mae Astrid Strand Roberts Donald of River Heights, UT.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2014 at 2pm in the Providence City Cemetery, 700 River Heights Blvd. Condolences may be expressed online at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com
