Burtiss Alvin Wilburn

North Logan ? Burtiss Alvin Wilburn, 53, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on September 19, 2010. Burt was born April 12, 1957 in Rangely, CO to Willis Tig and Wanda Pearl Thompson Wilburn. He was raised and educated in Tremonton, UT. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. He was a talented musician and cook and in his younger years spent a lot of time cutter racing with his dad and brothers. He is survived by his sisters: Melba Jean McKinnis, Laroma Puckett, Patsy Fridal, Lynda Jerry Schultz; Brothers: Ron Standridge, Russell Jean Wilburn and Tom Wilburn; many nieces, nephews and his beloved dog Baby. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grandparents, Sister Barbra Ann Smith and Sister-in-law Roberta Standridge. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, September 23, 2010 11:00 a.m. at the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from 6:00 ? 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 ? 10:30 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, UT. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home to help cover funeral service expenses.
