Clive Balmforth Anderson

Clive Balmforth Anderson, 78, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010 in Smithfield, Utah after a short battle with cancer. He was born December 30, 1931 in Rexburg, Idaho to Daniel and Sarah Irene Balmforth Anderson. He married Dana May Hertzig in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on March 26, 1959. Clive served in the US Navy as a Torpedoman 2nd Class during the Korean Conflict. Clive and Dana have lived in Roy, Utah and Eustis, Florida. He received his bachelor?s degree in electronics at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho and continued his education in electronics through his work with the Federal Aviation Administration. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He is survived by his wife, Dana; sons: Clive Loren Dana Anderson; Bryce Bonnie Anderson; Greg Suzanne Anderson, Brent Yvette Anderson; Deven Janice Anderson; Garren Drew Shawna Anderson; daughters: Dannette Irene Kyle Garrett; Danielle May Peter Rainey; 25 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers: Harlow B Andersen, North Las Vegas, Nevada; Calvin Andersen, Rupert, Idaho; and a sister: Donna Barney of Menan, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his sons, Steven Anderson and Camden Anderson and his daughter, Sarah Anderson. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Monday, April 26, 2010 at the Roy 12th Ward LDS Chapel, 4524 South 2525 West, Roy, Utah. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be at the Leavitt?s Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
