She held many positions over the years, and served diligently. She served in the Relief Society, as a Primary chorister, as a Scout Leader, as a devoted visiting teacher and more recently, although she felt challenged, as a teacher of a Book of Mormon class. Dona loved music, loved to sing, and was a member of her church choir. Dona was also able to serve a mission with her husband in 2004 to the San Jose area. What a joy that was to her to serve her heavenly father with her Dear husband by her side. She loved to serve and to share her love of the gospel and its many blessings. Dona's sweet, pleasant personality and her warm, inviting and comforting spirit resonated to all who knew her, and made it possible for her to make friends very easily and wherever she went. She was loved and admired by so many in her life and touched so many lives. Even though Dona was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in her mid 30's she still led a full and productive life. She loved traveling with her husband to various locations related to his music responsibilities. She was so proud of Robert and loved to share his successes with friends, family, and many others. One of her greatest joys and pride was attending Roberts concerts in which he played in or conducted. While raising her young family she loved to sew, make clothes, toll paint and cook. She knew how to bake so well and has taught her children the tricks of a wonderful homemade pie. Dona loved to camp and take her children on amazing trips with their cousins and had so many great wonderful memories. Dona loved her family so much. She loved attending family reunions in a variety of locations. She always had a bright smile and bright spirit, especially when spending time with her family.
