Elaine Riggs Homer

Elaine Riggs Homer Passed away Thursday, April 11th in Las Vegas, Nevada where she lived with her son for the past 10 years. She was born May 5, 1922 in Benson, Utah; the only child of Albert Bird Riggs and Olga Lundberg Riggs. She married Clarence Kirk Homer Feb. 9, 1944 in the Logan LDS temple. She was a graduated registered nurse and worked in that profession at the Wm. S. Budge Memorial Hospital in Logan, the Smithfield Clinic and in public health until she retired in 1985. She and her husband Kirk spent several years serving as temple workers in the Baptistery in the Logan Temple. She is survived by her two children: Paul Homer of Las Vegas, NV; Julie Homer Jones of Bountiful, UT; 6 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kirk, 1 grandchild and 2 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Friday, April 19th at 12:00 noon in the Logan City Cemetery.
