Elaine Ruffell Theurer passed away on November 25, 2011, at her home in Richmond, UT.
She was born September 6, 1951, in American Fork, UT, to Percival A. Ruffell & Lorraine A. Christensen.
She is survived by her husband Jeffery L. Theurer of Richmond, UT, and nine siblings: George Ruffell of Sandy, UT; Robert Ruffell of Declo, ID; Richard Ruffell of Page AZ; Norma Farley of Orem, UT; Dennis Ruffell of Provo, UT; William Ruffell of Declo, ID; Fred Ruffell of Los Angeles, CA; Shirley Potter of Herriman, UT; and James Ruffell of Tacoma, WA. Mary Ann Ruffell preceded her in death.
Elaine was appreciated for her companionship, many skills including sewing, knitting, arts and crafts, and especially her gardening talents. Heaven's gardens will be improved by her arrival there. To quote Elaine, "…I was born to pull weeds".
Services are under the direction of Bishop Robert Whitman, Richmond 2nd Ward and the Nelson Funeral Home. A viewing will be held at the Richmond 2nd Ward Chapel, 150 S. 100 E., from 11 AM – 12 noon followed by a graveside service at the Richmond City Cemetery on Thursday, December 1st. .
A special thanks is given to the staff of Alpine Home Care and the Hearts and Hands Home Care for their loving service.
