Ervin George Walker

Ervin George Walker peacefully returned to his loving Heavenly Father Thursday, August 23, 2012. The son of LaWanna Gay Schiess and the late Morris Dee Walker, he was born on January 2, 1974 in Logan, UT. Ervin had brothers, Jonathon Dinorah and LaMarrValerie, and a sister Georgia Tommy Magnusson. Ervin graduated from Sky View High School where he was involved with the FFA program and activities. After completing a mission in Minneapolis, MN he married his long-time friend Holly Merrill in the Logan Temple. They were blessed with two amazing children, Mya Sky and Morrris Theon. Ervin joined the Trenton Volunteer Fire Department in 1995. His passion for the fire department increased with time; and he accomplished his EMS and EMTI certifications. All who knew him realized his great love for hunting. He could often be found in the hills of San Juan County or at Muddy Road Outfitters . While living in Monticello Ervin was able to share his love for 4H, FFA, and Junior Livestock by serving on the San Juan County Junior Livestock Committee. Through this he was able to share his knowledge and abilities of livestock show animals.
Many lives were blessed by Ervin's compassionate assistance because he loved to help people. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. Ervin's family would like to thank the Trenton Fire Department and EMS for their special friendships, and for all that they have done for our family throughout the years and at this time. We would also like to thank everyone for the abundance of love and support that has been given. A viewing will be held Monday, August 27 from 6:00 – 8:00 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 85 South Main, Smithfield, UT and Tuesday, August 28 from 10:30 – 11:30 at the Trenton / Cornish Church, 1200 North 400 West, Trenton, UT.
