Ogden/Kaysville, UT ? Gerald Elmo Peacock, 85, passed away October 31, 2010 at the George E. Whalen Veterans Home in North Ogden. He was born May 27, 1925 in Heiner, Carbon County, UT to Claud Franklin and Edna Fern Eagleston Peacock. He was reared and educated in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School. He married Eulalia Price November 10, 1947. They wre later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple. They resided together in Glendora, CA and Kaysville, UT. Eulalia passed away January 24, 2006. He served in the United States Army during WW II as a Paratrooper in the 13th Airborne Division. He enjoyed camping and traveling and spending time with his family. He loved to have the grandchildren come and visit which always brought a sparkle to his eye. He worked as an Accountant throughout his life. He was a High Priest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings. He is survived by Daughters: Shari Peacock, St. George, UT, Jelean Hirschi Kevin, Garland, UT; Foster Daughter: Sue Miguel, Paguate, NM, 5 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, Sister Margaret Poulsen and Brothers Franklin and Sydney. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 6, 2010 11:30 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, UT. Friends may call from 9:30 ? 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral services. Interment will follow in the Samaria, ID Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at the George E.
