Hector Enrique Garcia Villarreta
Passed away peacefully at his home on April 7th, 2012. He was born January 1st, 1975 to his querida madre Delmira Villarreta. He was raised in Bajia Murta, Chile. After finishing school, he came to work in the United States; where he later fell in love with his sweetheart Kellie Jean Ercanbrack, daughter of Ralph & Jean Ercanbrack. They were married for time and all eternity in the Logan LDS Temple on April 4th 2007. A special blessing in his life was his daughter Gabriella.
Those who knew him best appreciated his sense of humor, his passion for cooking, and intricate jewelry making. His favorite past time was to spend time with family and friends drinking máte and eating carne.
His life is a remarkable example of devotion, loyalty, faith, and perseverance. He will be greatly missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, Kellie and daughter Gabriella of Providence. His mother Delmira Villarreta, of Bajia Murta, Chile. His sister Sandra Villarreta of Coyhaique, Chile. His nephew David Villarreta of Coyhaique, Chile. And many supportive family and friends.
Hector wanted to thank the many doctors, nurses, and aides for their kind care and help throughout his extended illness.
Funeral Services will be held April 11th at 11:00 a.m. at the Providence LDS Church, 420 W. 100 N. Providence Utah. Viewing will be held April 10th from 6 -8 pm at Nelson Funeral Home 162 East 400 North and April 11th 9:30-10:30 at the Providence Church prior to the service.
