Jill Renae Goodwin Snow

November 1, 1953 — January 29, 2011

Jill Renae Goodwin Snow, 57, from the heart broken, loving arms of her family into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our sweet wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully January 29, 2011 at the Logan Regional Hospital due to health conditions.
She was born to Maxine and Benny Goodwin. She was the youngest of four kids. She met her partner in crime in September 1979, Harold Lee Snow. They were married in the Ogden LDS temple on February 14, 1980. They had identical twins that passed away in the same year. Also born into their lives is their daughter Crystal Lynne and she has two sons, Derek Lee Snow and Alfredo Don Snow.
She worked at the Logan Nursing and Rehab Center as a dietary aide and quit due to health reasons in 2006.
She enjoyed many things, she loved to go camping, rodeos, demolition derbys, traveling, most important she loved spending time with her family. Some hobbies she enjoyed were hidden word books, making hats and scarfs out of yarn. She also loved to bake anything. She also loved to go out to restaurants with family and friends. She was loved by everyone she met. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Jill was preceded in death by her parents, two brother, two sons, and numerous aunts and uncles and cousins.
She is survived by her Knight in Shining Armor, Harold of Smithfield, Ut; daughter, Crystal of Smithfield, Ut; sister, Judy Young and husband Rocky Young of Evanston, Wy., two grandsons, Derek and Alfredo, numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her sidekick and best friend Kay Johnson of 30 years.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 12 noon at the LDS Chapel at 79 East 200 South in Smithfield, Utah. Brother Mick Poulsen of the Smithfield 8th Ward will be officiating. Friends and family are invited to a viewing at Nelson Funeral Home, 85 South Main, Smithfield, Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and also Saturday at the church from 10:30 to 11:30. Interment will be in the Smithfield City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Diabetes Foundation. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com .
