She was born in Logan, Utah to Hubert C. and Phyllis N. Ward on November 25, 1929. She attended Utah State University and graduated from University of Utah. She was a secretary and a school teacher. Surviving are her four wonderful children; Karen Doug Atkin, Gary Melville, Sandra Davenport and Joanne Mike Broadbent; twelve grandchildren; Heather, Greg and Hannah Atkin; Melissa, Miranda and Colby Melville; Derek and Jonathon Davenport; Maren, Dallen, Jordon and Jason Broadbent; Brothers and sisters are Darrell Ward, Roselyn W. Larsen, Afton W. Williamson, Janet W. Johnson and Jay H. Ward. A private graveside service will be held.
