Plymouth, UT/Hacienda Heights, CA ? Nessie Archibald Vanderhoof, 94, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2009. She was born August 12, 1914 to Walter S. and Harriet Smith Archibald in Wellsville, Utah. She married Eddie M. Vanderhoof September 19, 1932. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple December 21, 1962. Eddie passed away March 14, 1982.
Nessie loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She enjoyed quilting and wall papering with her sister. She worked at Brigham Apparel as a seamstress. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Primary, as a visiting teacher and loved to attend the temple.
Surviving are her children: Olean Vanderhoof, Moliece Davis, Donald L. Vanderhoof and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a son, Montie L. Vanderhoof; three grandchildren: Montie Vanderhoof, Travis and Roxanne Davis; four sisters and six brothers.
A funeral service will be held Monday, May 18, 2009 11:00 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton. Family and friends may call Sunday, May 17, 2009 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at the Plymouth Cemetery.
