Rose Mae Woodyatt Turnbow

Ogden – Rose Mae Woodyatt Turnbow, 90, died March 3, 2011, at the Bear River Valley Care Center in Tremonton, UT. She was born May 1, 1920 in Bancroft, NB to Felix Claus and Rose Emma Elsasser Mackey. Rose moved to Utah as a teenager and graduated from box Elder High School with the class of 1938. She married Don Woodyatt February 21, 1938 and were sealed in the Logan LDS Temple February 13, 1964. They later divorced. She married Alton Bud Turnbow November 27, 1989 and they later divorced. She worked for the Defense Deopot of Utah as a military product packager. She loved to travel, dance, garden and cook. She also enjoyed winters in Las Vegas, NV. She was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and helped throughout her life in many functions of the church. She is survived by her Daughters: Peggy Genaro Sanchez and Jayne Woodyatt; 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; sisters: Luella Eckert and Wilda Hill. She was preceded in death by both husbands, Son Don Allen Woodyatt, Brothers: Roland MackeyBus, Felix Henry Mackey and sister Florence Brummond and grandson Christopher Noel Smith. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton. Friends may call Monday from 9:30-10:40 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the services. Interment will be in the Willard Cemetery.
