LOGAN, UT - Stevie Rydell Moore, age 43 of Logan passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 11, 2011 at his home. He was born on July 28, 1967 in Leaksville, Mississippi to James Thomas and Jo Nell McLeod. Stevie was a member The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Stevie was a generous and kind person and was liked by everyone who knew him. His greatest love and accomplishments were his children. He would always have pictures and stories on hand for anyone who would listen. He loved to read books on animals. Stevie had a strong passion for all animals, especially his dogs. He is survived by his stepfather James Thomas JT McLeod of Leaksville, Mississippi, his daughter, Emily Moore and son Austin Moore of River Heights; his ex-wife Marnie Poppleton of River Heights; and four brothers, James Thomas Moore, Joe Richard McLeod, and Lee Curtis McLeod of Leaksville and Lynn Rubin McLeod of Logan, Utah; uncles, Jimmy Debra Moore of North Logan, Utah and Clyde Keri Ann Moore of Layton, Utah; Tyrone Jennie Washington, and Joe Washington of Logan and many more uncles, aunts, and cousins in Utah and Mississippi. The family wishes to give heartfelt thanks to Bishop Russell Ray for his loving friendship, compassion and support. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North in Logan. A viewing will be held from 4:30-6:00 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mississippi. Condolences and memories may be shared online at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com
