Wayne Reeder Pickett

Wayne Reeder Pickett, 68, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. He was born April 3, 1942 in Logan, Utah to Milton A. and Phyllis Reeder Pickett. Wayne lived his entire life in Smithfield, Utah. He graduated from North Cache High and worked at Cache Valley Dairy for over 45 years. He married Linda Kathryn Roskelley and together they raised their family of four children. Wayne enjoyed going for leisure rides, hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed being with his family. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Wayne is survived by his wife, Linda; children: Marilyn Chuck Winn, Riverton; Brian Andrea Pickett, Smithfield; Jed Pickett, Smithfield; a daughter-in-law, Tavia Pickett; 11 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Keith Lynette Pickett and sisters: Vicky Sue Reed Jenkins and Annette Eldon Palmer. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Kent Pickett. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Smithfield City Cemetery. Friends and family may call Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 85 South Main, Smithfield.
