Alan Eugene Briggs, beloved husband, father, son, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23. He was born on August 13, 1968, in Provo, Utah, to Mary and Walter Briggs.

Alan married the love of his life, Emily Flickinger, and together they built a beautiful family, raising three cherished children. He found great joy and pride in being a father and was deeply devoted to his family.

A lifelong learner and educator at heart, Alan earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah. His professional life was varied, but he found particular fulfillment in his work at Bridgerland Technical College, where he supported teachers in developing and refining their curriculum. His passion for education and his ability to bring structure and clarity to ideas made him an invaluable resource and a respected colleague.

Alan was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lived a life grounded in his beliefs.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 3 at 12:00 noon at the chapel located at 3200 S 500 W, Nibley, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Millville Cemetery.

Alan’s life touched many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
