Elizabeth Jane Fantley, age 72, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026, in Logan, Utah.

Jane was born on December 10, 1953, in Weiser, Idaho. She spent her childhood growing up in Huntington, Oregon, where she developed the strong values and deep love of family that stayed with her throughout her life. Jane had a lifelong passion for genealogy. She found great joy in researching her family's history, tracing the generations who came before her, and preserving those vital stories for the generations to come. She was also an avid, competitive bowler. Known for her skill, consistency, and enthusiasm on the lanes, Jane treasured the deep camaraderie and lasting friendships she built through the sport.

A devoted member of the Logan 1st and 2nd Wards of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for several years, Jane deeply appreciated the fellowship, support, and community she found among her ward members. Her faith brought her immense comfort and strength.

Above all else, Jane loved her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nicholas; her parents, Jack and Carma Williams; and her sister, Dorothy. She is survived by her children, David Fantley (Alisa) and Kimberly Ballam (Brian); her five grandchildren, who were the light of her life and brought her endless happiness: Allison, Andrew, Lauren, Cole, and Jaden; her siblings, Ann Williams, Esther Williams, Joan Williams, and Terrell (Debbie) Williams; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will miss her dearly.

Jane will be remembered for her kind heart, her devotion to her family, and her dedication to preserving her family's history.
