Our husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend completed this part of our Heavenly Father’s plan on June 3, 2025. Harry B Rindlisbacher was born on July 29, 1935 to Seymour and Anna (Bauman) Rindlisbacher in Amalga Utah. He was the third of five children. Harry grew up working hard on his dad’s farm doing everything a farm boy loves to do. Hunting and fishing the canyons around Cache Valley was a big part of his life. Harry loved sports while growing up and maintained that love throughout his life. He coached many of his children’s teams. Harry found his way to contribute to the Smithfield Blue Sox by umpiring many games. Harry attended schools in Smithfield and graduated from North Cache High School.
In answer to his grandmother’s prayers, Harry was called and served in the Swiss-Austrian mission in 1955. He served for 2 and a half years.
After his mission, Harry attended Ricks College, and while there he met Julene Blau. They courted and then were married in the Logan Temple in 1960.
Harry was active in the Army Reserves and his unit was activated at the time of the Berlin Crisis. He was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Harry was honorably discharged and Harry and Julene returned to Utah, making their home in North Logan. Later they moved to Richmond, and then moved their family of five boys to Amalga, where their final son was born. Harry and Julene stayed in Amalga until 2024, when they moved to Birchcreek Assisted Living.
Harry and Julene started the Cub Scout program in Amalga and Harry spent many years as the Scout Master and served on the Scout committee. Harry helped many boys get their Eagle Scout award, including all six of his sons. Harry received the Silver Beaver award for his great contributions in the scouting program.
Harry worked as a barber in Richmond. He worked for Trenton Feed, Utah State University, and worked as a cabinet maker. He then started a small dairy farm and worked at Cache Valley Cheese Factory. He later retired from Schreiber Foods.
After retirement Harry and Julene served a Humanitarian mission in Kentucky, a Temple Mission at the Swiss Temple, and a Family History mission in Salt Lake City. In between missions and for many years after, he and Julene worked in the Logan Temple.
Harry spent countless hours helping his kids with projects and with work on their houses. He was a jack-of-all-trades.
Harry and Julene spent many hours in the mountains, going to grandkids sporting events, concerts and watching the grandkids show animals at the County Fair. They enjoyed visiting relatives, gardening and serving people around them.
Harry is survived by his wife, Julene Blau Rindlisbacher, six sons: David (Rosemarie), Wendell, Kenny (Laura), Jason (Cheryl), Daren (Amy), and Lee (Kira) Rindlisbacher. And also a brother, Ray Rindlisbacher. He has 20 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was Uncle Harry and a second grandfather to many.
Our family would like to thank all of the staff at Birchcreek Assisted Living. We are impressed by the kindness and attention you gave Harry.
