Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend completed this part of our Heavenly Father’s plan on March 19, 2026. Julene Blau Rindlisbacher was born June 20,1940 to Albertine (Gerber) and Martin Blau in Malad, Idaho. She was the oldest of five children. As a child Julene lived in Nibley and went to Millville Grade School. At the age of 13 she moved with her family to Dayton, Idaho, where she attended West Side High School. She graduated in 1958. Julene then continued her education at Ricks College in the Nursing program, where she became a registered nurse. She worked in both the old and new Logan Hospitals in the nursery and NICU from 1960 to 1997.

While attending Ricks College, she met Harry Rindlisbacher. In 1960 they were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Harry and Julene lived in North Logan, Richmond, and finally settled in Amalga. They are the parents of six boys. Harry and Julene stayed in Amalga until 2024 when they moved to Birch Creek Assisted Living in Smithfield.

Julene served in many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints including Primary President, Primary Teacher, Stake Primary Secretary, Relief Society President, Relief Society teacher and ministering sister.

Julene helped Harry start the cub scout program in Amalga and served for many years. She earned six Eagle Scout Awards along with her sons. Julene loved the boy scout program and earned a District Award of Merit for her service.

Julene was a Temple Worker from 2001 to 2021, taking breaks to go on three full-time missions with Harry. They served a humanitarian mission in Hazard, Kentucky, a temple mission at the Swiss temple and a family history Mission in Salt Lake City.

Julene and Harry spent many hours in the mountains, going to grandkids’ sporting events, concerts and watching the grandkids show animals at the County Fair. They enjoyed visiting relatives and serving people around them. Julene and Harry were the first to welcome many people who moved to Amalga. Julene loved gardening, flowers, birds, butterflies, music, cats and kittens.

Julene is survived by her six sons: David (Rosemarie) Wendell, Kenneth (Laura), Jason (Cheryl), Daren (Amy), and Lee (Kira) Rindlisbacher. Also a brother, Reed Blau. Julene has 20 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Our family would like to thank all of the staff at Birchcreek Assisted Living for the kindness and attention they gave Julene.

Viewing will be Sunday, March 29 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and Monday, March 30 from 9:30 to 10:30 am, with funeral at 11:00 in the Benson Stake Center 6521 N 2400 W in Amalga. Internment will follow at the Providence Cemetery.
