Katie Cutler Oliverson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on May 6, 2026, at the age of 65.
Katie was born in Brigham City, Utah, to Sidney and Jolene Cutler. She spent her life devoted to her family, her faith, and the people she loved so deeply.
Katie was one of the most fun and loving people anyone could ever know. She brought warmth, laughter, and kindness everywhere she went and had a truly selfless heart. She would do anything for anyone and made everyone around her feel loved and welcomed.
One of Katie’s greatest joys in life was spending time with her sweetheart, Dave. Together they loved fishing at the lake, going on walks, and playing pickleball. Their love and companionship were an example to all who knew them.
More than anything, Katie adored her grandchildren. She never missed an opportunity to cheer them on at their games, performances, and activities. She was their biggest fan, greatest supporter, and constant source of love and encouragement. Her grandkids were the light of her life.
Katie was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved the Lord deeply. Her faith guided the way she lived and served others throughout her life.
Katie is survived by her loving husband, David James Oliverson; her children, Natalie Devine, Kayli Shoff (Ricky Shoff), and Jason Oliverson (London Oliverson); and her cherished grandchildren, Finnegan Devine, Rue Devine, Crew Shoff, Bowdy Shoff, Brock Shoff, Hudson Shoff, and Matheo Oliverson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Jolene Cutler.
