Ma Pech

Our beloved Ma Pech passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by those who loved her deeply. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was born in Kapong Cham, Cambodia and came to America in 1983 with her husband Hong Heng and children.
Ma worked for only a few years before her husband tragically passed away due to a car accident just 6 years after their arrival to the U.S- she was only 48 years old.
Ma then retired and became a homemaker and stayed with her children. She loved to sew and would tailor and customize all of her and her families clothing to their perfect fit. If she wasn’t sewing, she was cooking all of our favorite foods. One thing she was especially known for was her fluffy, sweet, perfect nom bao buns. She would make an oven full piled high and gave them away to her family and friends all around- No charge.
Ma is survived by her five children Chan, Sok, Serey, That, and Rith, 11 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
She was the glue to our family, the strongest woman we knew, and her legacy will live on through us. Forever missed, forever loved, and forever in our hearts. We pray you rest in peace.
