Mary Bonnie Condie Buttars

Mary Bonnie Condie Buttars peacefully returned to her Father in Heaven on Oct 3, 2014. She was born Nov 19, 1928 in Preston Idaho to Fern & Lettie Condie. Bonnie married Boyd Buttars on Sept 21, 1950, in the Logan temple, and they were blessed with 7 children. The family lived in Cornish UT until 1978 when they moved to Logan. Bonnie was an accomplished pianist and organist which enriched the lives of many. She had a wonderful talent of writing road shows, skits & songs for church youth programs and also had a beautiful singing voice. She enjoyed all sports and was an avid football fan. After her children were raised, she worked at the Bon Marché, Lamonts, and Dillards Department stores where she retired. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents Fern & Lettie Condie, husband Boyd Buttars, infant son Blair Buttars, oldest son David Buttars, sister Corene Woodward, brother-in-law John Porter. She is survived by her children Rick Julie, Tracy Wendie, Brooks, Darin Stacey, Angie Wade Harman, sister Clarice Porter and brother Jay Marion Con-die. Bonnie cherished her 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and loved the family visits. Bonnie was very grateful for the kind and loving care she received from the staff while living at Logan Nursing home. Services will be held at Nelson Funeral Home in Logan Utah, 162 E 400 N, on Oct 10, 2014. A viewing will be at10AM, Memorial service will follow at 11AM and Graveside service at Logan cemetery immediately following. In lieu of flowers please donate to the ALS Research Foundation.
