Trisha Anne Autry

December 12, 1984 — May 14, 2001

Hyrum ? Trisha Anne Autry died May 14, 2001 or before from unnatural causes. She is now at peace with both her earthly and her Heavenly Father. Trisha was born December 12, 1984 in Logan, Utah, to the surprise and delight of her parents, JoAnn and Leroy Autry. From the day she was born she captivated the people in her world with her smile, her exuberance, her joyfulness, and her love. Babysitters usually became lifelong admirers and friends. Trisha?s curiosity and spontaneity enlivened her family because her brothers and sisters never knew what she would come up with next. Trisha spent her entire life in the town of Hyrum with occasional visits to family in California, Montana and Arizona. She dreamed of becoming a world-wide traveler, visiting exotic places, but always returning to her blessed canyon home. She attended Lincoln and Edith Bowen Elementary Schools, Spring Creek and Willow Valley Middle Schools, and had just completed her freshman year at South Cache Freshman Center. Trisha found her place and her voice performing with the Cache Children?s Choir and in the Festival of the American West. She treasured the many friends she found in these two organizations and looked forward to being among them. Another place she loved to be was in the Arts Program at South Cache. She had the voice of an angel and loved to sing all kinds of music. She played the guitar and was a most accomplished actress. She also wrote music, short stories, poetry and was working on her first novel at the time of her death. Trisha was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her profound talent was the ability to forgive others who hurt her, to see people as children of God, and to love them. Her greatest gifts to her family and friends were her testimony of the gospel, her bear hugs, her smiles and her kisses. She will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved her. The family she left behind to be with her Daddy are her mother, JoAnn R. Autry; her brothers: Brock and Aram Mandi; her sisters and best friends: Heather, Breanne and Jamie; former sister-in-law, Anji; the nieces and nephew she adored: Taylor, Caleb and Miya Autry; her grandmother, Lillier Mae Autry; and countless aunts and uncles, some blood relatives and some lovingly adopted by Trisha. At long last, Funeral services for Trisha will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 5, 2004, at the Hyrum 7th Ward Chapel, 190 West Main Street, Hyrum, Utah. Friends and family may call from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. at the church. We invite all those who knew Trisha to come and join us as we finally put her to rest. Services are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home. Condolences to the family may be extended online at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com .
